Thank you to all the people who helped to make the day so wonderful.
A special thank you to our school governors, Mr and Mrs Curruthers, our parent helpers and the students from Newman college.

It was wonderful to invite parents into school for an open morning today.

EYFS and Year One enjoyed a day on Avenham park this week.
We had great fun running around the open space and making an enormous muddy puddle to splash in. We explore Autumn time under the trees and collected lots of colourful leaves to use in school. We ate our lunch the beautiful pavilion cafe and enjoyed climbing and sliding on the play area.
We must all say a big thank you to the pavilion staff, school volunteers and the students from Cardinal Newman college who made this outing possible.

The EYFS children have been learning all about Guy Fawlkes and his plot to blow up the houses of parliament. We have watched video clips of bonfires burning and fireworks exploding and we now know how to keep ourselves safe. We practiced keeping safe with pretend sparklers and a bonfire in our classroom.

In EYFS we have been busy learning all about Diwali celebrations.
We listened to the story of Rama and Sita, had great fun making our own diva lamps and explored Rangoli patterns on the light box. What a wonderful celebration!

Happy Diwali to all our Hindu families. - NOVEMBER 5, 2021

Fire-pit session. We enjoyed soup, popcorn, marshmallows and the story 'Bear snores on', around the fire pit.

Purple Mash

Purple Mash is a website that the children use to do work in many areas of the curriculum. Children can log onto the Purple Mash website at home as well as at school.  Please see a member of our EYFS team if your child cannot remember their unique username and password.

Online Safety

Due to children spending more time at home online, we ask parents to please familiarise themselves and their children with some basic online safety rules.
