Our amazing members of the School Council organised and ran an obstacle course in school today.

Well done to everyone who took part… you looked like you all had a wonderful time raising money to buy new playground equipment.

Thank you to all the people who helped to make the day so wonderful.

A special thank you to our school governors, Mr and Mrs Curruthers, our parent helpers and the students from Newman college.

We have discovered what it was like to go to St Ignatius school in the Victorian times.

We found out about spiders and how important they are. We loved making a weaved web using wool and painting spider pictures.

We have made our mummies some lovely lavender perfume to take home to say…

Year Two have learnt about the artist Lynn Flavell and how she is inspired by fruit and vegetables to make wonderful repeated patterns. Using two different printing methods, the children made their own repeated patterns! It was a very busy lesson, but a lot of fun!

This week the children in Year Six and Two visited Waterstones book store. They were amazed at the variety of books on display. Each child exchanged their World Book Day token for a book! A big thank you to all the staff at Waterstones that made this visit such a worthwhile and enjoyable…
